The Hi-Desert Rig Runners is a chapter of the Winnebego Itasca Travelers (W.I.T.).
The purpose of the organization is to promote fellowship, friendship, and fun among its members as well as to foster and develop recreational, social, and travel opportunites for the enjoyment and pleasure of its members.
We encourage participation in gatherings and outings on both the local and state levels.
Our monthly campouts provide an opportunity for members to exchange travel ideas, to explore new areas, as well as to participate in educational programs and foster community service.
The Hi-Desert Rig Runners chapter was originally formed in Ridgecrest, California.
Today the members of the club are from all areas of the desert (high and low), Bakersfield and parts of Orange County.
